Why is Ethiceye born?

For more than three years, I have trained teachers from all over Europe in artificial intelligence. Tools, workflows, prompts. And the more I taught, the more obvious something became that almost nobody was naming.

People were learning to use AI, but they weren’t learning to think with it.

I have seen students submit AI-generated work without understanding what they were submitting. I have seen companies enter sensitive data into free tools without anyone consciously making that decision. I have seen organisations adopt AI because it was the trend, without asking why or considering the consequences.

Ethiceye was born from the conviction that someone had to name what was happening. That technology is not the problem. That the problem is delegating thought without realising it.

It is not enough to learn how to use technology. We must also learn how to make decisions with it.

Human Judgement in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

We live in a time of unprecedented access to information. And yet, we have never been more uncertain about what to do with it.

Artificial intelligence is advancing faster than our ability to understand its implications. Yet few people are asking the most important question: according to what judgement?

Because what is at stake is not artificial intelligence.

It is human thought.
